Am I too old to get into gaming?

My kids want me to play Fortnite with them and I feel like a total dinosaur. I tried it last week and got destroyed but they thought it was hilarious. Been thinking about getting a decent gaming PC just to have something to do with them on rainy days. Is it worth the investment or will I just waste money? Never been a gamer before.

Not too old at all, man. I tried jumping into Fortnite with my kids last year and honestly it was hilarious. Yeah I'm terrible at it but they loved having me in there trying. You don't have to be good, just willing to look like a fool for a few minutes.

The dinosaur feeling is real but your kids won't remember that you were bad at Fortnite. They'll remember that you tried. That actually means more to them than you know.

I get it but honestly gaming is one area where being a beginner actually levels the playing field between you and your kids. They can teach you for once instead of the other way around. That's kind of cool when you think about it.
