My buddy dragged me out to play disc golf a few months back and I thought it was dumb. Now I'm out there 2-3 times a week after work. It's cheap, you can play with your kids, and you're actually outside moving around. Beat my personal best today by 5 strokes. Anyone else playing around here?
Haha I feel this. Never thought disc golf would hook me but it's the perfect dad hobby. Low cost to get into and you can just go play whenever.
It's weirdly addictive right? I started playing with coworkers for fun and now I'm looking up courses nearby. Way cheaper than golf too.
This is the best kind of hobby because you can be as casual or as serious as you want. Just walking around outside throwing stuff is therapeutic honestly.

Same thing happened to me. My son got me out to a course and I was skeptical but now I'm out there twice a week. It's cheap, good exercise, and way less intense than regular golf if you know what I mean.

Disc golf is actually so fun once you get into it. Everyone thinks it's weird until they try it and then suddenly they're buying their own discs and talking about flight ratings lol. Where do you usually play?
