Anyone else fish early mornings before the family wakes up?

Started going out at 5:30am on Saturdays to hit the lake before everyone needs me for stuff. There's something about just sitting there with coffee and a rod before the chaos starts. Got the whole place to myself usually. Highly recommend if you need some peace and quiet.

That's the life right there. Peaceful, quiet, and you get your hobby in before the day gets crazy. I do Sunday pancakes early for the same reason - nobody up yet, just me and the kitchen.

This is smart scheduling honestly. Getting out before everyone needs something is the only way to keep your sanity as a parent. I respect the dedication to 5:30am though.
