I'm 47 and decided to try gaming since my kids are into it. Played for like 2 hours yesterday and got absolutely destroyed in every match. Can't aim, don't know the maps, kids are already laughing at me. But honestly it's kinda fun getting destroyed. Might keep at it just so I can understand what they're into.
Two hours is solid effort for day one. I started playing with my kids too and the aiming was brutal at first, but after a couple weeks it clicks a little. Plus your kids probably love having you try, even if you're terrible at it.
Man, I'm right there with you. My kids got me into gaming a few months back and I'm still getting wrecked every time. But they think it's hilarious when I mess up, so honestly it's become our thing. Stick with it, the aim gets better I swear.
Ha, I'm in the same boat. My 10 and 13 year old were laughing at me trying to play Fortnite last month. But honestly it's kind of fun just hanging out and learning what they're into. Don't give up!
Dude this is actually so cool though. My kids think it's hilarious when I mess up but they also like explaining the games to me. It's our thing now.
