BBQ competition this Saturday

Been smoking brisket and ribs every weekend to prep. This is my first actual competition and I'm way more nervous than I expected. Spent like 400 bucks on supplies and practice runs. My kids think I'm insane for waking up at 4am to tend to the smoker but they'll be eating free BBQ all summer if I place. Wish me luck guys.

Dude, $400 is nothing compared to what you're about to gain in experience. You've put in the work on those weekends, now go show them what Chicago dad energy looks like at that competition. Nervous is good, means you care.
