Best fishing trip in years

Took my son out to the lake early this morning and we actually caught something. He was so excited when he got his first fish on the line. We were only out there 3 hours but man, those are the moments you live for as a dad. Plus I got some peace and quiet before breakfast.

That early morning excitement is something special. We do the same thing whenever we get out to the water and my boys still talk about it for weeks after. Those are the best memories.

This is exactly why I drag my boys outside every chance I get. The lake is calling us this weekend for sure.
