Best fishing trip in years

Took my oldest out to the lake early Saturday morning. He actually didn't complain about waking up at 5am which felt like a win. We caught like 8 bass and he landed the biggest one himself. The look on his face when he reeled it in was worth every early morning I've dragged myself out of bed for. Already planning our next trip.
