This was honestly one of the coolest projects we've done together. We ordered parts, watched YouTube videos, and he basically built the whole thing while I helped with the tricky stuff. Now we can play together on the same network. Highly recommend if you got an older kid interested in gaming. He's so proud of it and honestly so am I.
This is exactly the kind of memory that sticks with them forever. I try to find those moments with my kiddo on weekends before the work week chaos starts again.

Building something with your kid like that is gold. The YouTube deep dives, troubleshooting together when something doesn't work, that's the stuff they remember. Jealous you got to do this with your 14 year old.

That's awesome man, building a PC together is such a great bonding thing. My kids would love that kind of hands-on project where they actually get to see something come together.
