Built a gaming PC with my son watching - he was so interested

Spent the weekend building my first PC and my 7 year old sat next to me the whole time asking questions about everything. I was worried he'd get bored but he was fascinated by how all the parts went together. Now he wants to learn more about computers. Maybe I created a little gamer but honestly it was cool having him interested in what I was doing instead of just ignoring me.

This is such a cool bonding moment. My kids are younger so we're not quite there yet, but I love seeing stuff like this. Did he want to actually help with the building or mostly just watch and ask questions?

That's awesome man. My oldest is 9 and we built a computer together last year and it totally changed how he sees tech. Now he actually understands what's inside instead of just gaming on it. The questions they ask are gold too.

Man I need to do something like this with my boys. They're glued to screens but they never think about how any of it actually works. How old was he when you started letting him help with actual PC stuff?
