Built my first actual PC and it's better than therapy
Spent the last two months watching YouTube videos and gathering parts. Put it together last week and it actually booted on the first try, thought I'd bricked it for sure. The focus of building something with my hands, learning the specs, dealing with problems - it's the most relaxed I've been in years. My wife gets some quiet time, I get to nerd out, kids get a dad who's not stressed. Win-win-win. Anyone else get into PC building later in life?
Two months of YouTube and parts gathering sounds about right. That feeling when you power it up for the first time is incredible. What'd you build it for mainly, gaming or just general use?
