Been fishing at the same lake for like 8 years and never landed anything bigger than 2 pounds. Today I got a 4 pounder right at sunset. Not huge by any means but it felt amazing. Threw it back of course. Just happy my patience finally paid off.
That's awesome man, 8 years of patience finally paid off! My daughter would probably want to document that catch with a drawing for our library visits haha. Congrats on sticking with it.

Four pounder is a real achievement, doesn't matter if it's not record breaking. Those sunset moments are what fishing's all about anyway.
