Took a solo fishing trip Saturday morning while the family was at soccer practice and finally landed the 5.5 lb bass I've been stalking for weeks. Been fishing this lake for 3 years and this is the biggest I've gotten. Didn't even get to tell anyone until evening and the kids just rolled their eyes but honestly that peaceful morning was worth more than anything else.
