Deep sea fishing trip is booked for October

Going with three buddies from the gym. We found a charter that does overnight trips off the coast. Should get some grouper, snapper, maybe some tuna if we're lucky. Can't wait to be out on the water for a day and not checking my phone. Wife thinks I'm insane but she gets her spa day so it's fair.

That sounds incredible. With my schedule bouncing between two houses I barely get time for myself, so I'm jealous. You taking any coolers full of food or is that covered by the charter?

How many days is the overnight? I've been looking at doing something like this but my wife wants me home on weekends mostly. Need to figure out how to make it work.

October is perfect timing. I've done a couple overnight fishing charters and man, there's something therapeutic about just being out on the water with no cell service. You gonna try to actually catch anything or just enjoy the peace and quiet?
