Finally committed to the man cave renovation

Tore out the old paneling and drywall in my garage last weekend and wow it's a mess but it feels good. Planning new insulation, painted drywall, LED lighting, and maybe some built-in shelving for my card collection and gaming stuff. Wife said I have until summer so trying to stay motivated. First time doing something like this so if anyone has tips on insulation for a garage that gets hot I'm all ears

How long are you planning to let it look like a construction zone before you actually finish it? Asking for a friend who's been in phase one for six months.

Just wait until your kids discover the mess and think it's the coolest thing ever. Mine want to hang out in my half finished space more than the actual living room now.

Nothing like the drywall dust settling on everything to make you realize what you've gotten into. Worth it though right? That man cave feeling is unmatched.
