Spent the last month building a wall mounted display case for my fly rods in the garage. My wife said it looked like a gun rack but for fishing which honestly made me laugh. Got 8 of my favorite rods up there now and it looks way better than them just leaning in the corner. Anyone else display their gear like this or am I just being extra?

That's awesome dedication. I've been wanting to do something like this for my chess board collection but haven't pulled the trigger. How did you get the mounting clean enough that the rods don't get damaged?
