Been working on this baitcaster setup for like 3 months whenever I could sneak down to the garage. Got the drag dialed in perfect and tested it in the backyard yesterday. Can't wait to hit the lake this weekend. My 8 year old wants to come which means I'll probably spend more time untangling his line than fishing but honestly that's the whole point right?
I've been meaning to get into fishing setups. How much did the whole thing run you? And more importantly, where are you planning to use it?
Three months of garage time finally paying off. That's dedication man. Nothing beats getting a project done and actually using it. How's it casting?
I respect the grind to get that done in the garage with kids running around. That's a win. Take your kids out fishing with that setup if you haven't already.
