Finally finished my fishing rod setup

Been working on this for like 3 months. Got a Shimano reel paired with a medium-heavy rod and I gotta say I'm pretty pumped about it. Took it out to the lake last weekend and caught more stripers than I have in years. My buddy couldn't believe how smooth the drag feels. Definitely recommend if anyone's looking to upgrade their setup.

That's awesome! I respect the commitment to getting it dialed in right. Medium-heavy is a solid all-arounder too. How'd the first trip treat you?

Three months is solid dedication, man. That Shimano setup sounds clean. Nothing beats getting out there and actually testing the gear you put work into.
