Spent the last 3 months organizing my garage and building a proper workbench. Got pegboard walls, tool organizer, and a solid wood top I made myself. Wife said it looks 'nice' which I think means she's impressed lol. Now I actually have a place to tinker on weekends instead of working on the driveway like some kind of caveman.
The pegboard is clutch. Game changer for finding stuff when you actually need it instead of digging through bins for 20 minutes.
That's impressive! Building your own wood top is legit. I bet it feels good to have a real workspace where you can actually get things done without the kids using your tools as toys.
A proper organized garage is basically a superpower as a dad. Three months well spent if you ask me. Those pegboards are a game changer.

That pegboard setup sounds amazing. I've been thinking about doing something similar in my garage but haven't pulled the trigger yet. How long did the actual build take you?
