Spent the last 3 weekends building out my workbench and tool storage. Got pegboard on both walls, mounted a vise, and organized all my stuff by project type. My 7 year old wants to "help" every time I go in there which is both awesome and terrifying. Already had to explain why we don't hammer nails into the drywall. Worth it though, this space is my sanctuary now.
Nice work getting that done in three weekends. Between coaching little league and the boys' schedules, I barely have time to organize my tools let alone mount a vise. Respect.
That's awesome man. I'd love to have a setup like that but my commute eats up most of my time. How long did the whole thing take you? Thinking about tackling something similar when I get a free weekend.
This is the kind of project I dream about having time for. With two kids and work I barely get to my woodworking as it is. Looks great though. The organization must feel amazing.

That pegboard setup looks amazing. I've been thinking about doing something similar in my garage but keep procrastinating. How long did it actually take you? And did you do it solo or did your kids help out?
Dude this is exactly what I need to do. Right now my tools are just scattered everywhere and I can never find anything. The pegboard walls are genius. Did you use any specific brackets or just standard ones from the hardware store?
