Finally finished my garage workshop setup - took way longer than planned

Spent the last 8 months converting our garage into an actual workshop. New workbench, tool wall, organized storage, the whole thing. My wife thinks I'm crazy spending this much time on it but honestly it's my happy place now. I'm out there every evening after the kids go to bed just tinkering with wood projects, fixing things, building stuff. Just finished a toy box for my youngest. Next project is bookshelves for the living room. Already planning to build a coffee table. It's weird how much I needed this space just for myself.

Eight months and you actually finished it? That's legendary. Woodworking setup like that is the dream, can't imagine what your wife is really thinking besides maybe 'he actually did it.'

Nice work getting it done. As someone juggling work and home, I know how hard it is to actually finish projects. That's solid.
