Finally finished my man cave and it's perfect

Spent 8 months converting the basement into my space. 65 inch tv, gaming setup with my old PlayStation and switch, a bar cart with some decent whiskeys, and I just put in recessed lighting. The best part is my 5 year old helped me paint and now he thinks he owns half of it. We play Mario Kart down there together which wasnt the original plan but honestly its the best part. Feels good to have a place that's mine but also can share with the boys sometimes.

Eight months well spent. That's the kind of space where you actually get to recharge, and you need that to be a better dad. Enjoy it, you earned it.
