Finally finished my man cave. Wife said I could do ONE shelf of action figures

Took me like 9 months of weekend projects but my basement corner is finally dialed in. Got a comfy recliner, mini fridge, 55" TV, sound system that actually slaps. My Star Wars collectibles are finally displayed properly instead of in boxes in the garage.

Wife's rule: action figures get ONE shelf. I negotiated for two but apparently that's "excessive." Fair enough since she let me do this in the first place lol.

This is awesome. Even with four kids going nuts, I get why you need that corner. A good recliner and some peace is non-negotiable when you're outnumbered in the house.

That mini fridge detail made me laugh. You really thought through the setup. With two kids myself, having a space that's totally yours makes the time with the family better anyway.

Nine months for your space, that's dedication. One shelf of action figures though - respect for the negotiation skills. That's the real dad move right there.
