After 3 months of weekends after the kids go to bed, I finally got my basement done. Got the home theater setup, mini fridge, pool table, and even managed to soundproof it so I'm not disturbing everyone upstairs. Wife thinks I'm crazy but she saw it last night and admitted it's pretty cool. First weekend to actually use it coming up!
Nice work finishing that. My haven is usually just a comfy chair where I read stories with my kid, but I respect the hustle. That's a solid retreat space.
That's awesome, man. I do my best decompressing on the trails with the boys on weekends, but having a proper space like that at home is next level. Congrats on actually finishing it.
