Spent the last 6 months converting the basement into my escape spot. Got a pool table, ping pong table, beer fridge, and a huge TV mounted on the wall. Wife thinks I'm crazy but she gets her spa days so I get my Friday nights down here with the guys. This is the first thing in years that's just mine and it feels so good.
This is the goal right here. The basement escape is real. Do you get to use it much with three kids and work, or is it more of a weekend thing for you?
