Finally finished the wall mounted TV in the garage

Took me three weekends because I kept running into issues with the stud finder and then realized I needed better cable management but man it's done. Got a used 55 inch from Facebook marketplace for 250 bucks and ran everything through the walls. Now I can actually watch the games while I'm working on the truck instead of just listening on my phone. Wife said I'm basically living out there now lol.

Three weekends on a TV mount sounds about right honestly. The first one is just problem solving. Glad you powered through it though, that setup looks awesome.

I had the exact same stud finder issue. Turns out mine was dying and giving false reads. Might want to check your batteries or grab a new one for next time.

Stud finders are the worst. I swear they find everything except actual studs. Did you end up mounting it into studs or using those heavy duty anchors? Looks clean in the pic either way.
