Finally finishing my garage workbench after 2 years

So I've been saying I'd finish this workbench setup for literally 2 years. Wife gave me the look yesterday that said 'do it or I'm donating your tools' so I finally committed. Picked up some pegboard, new drawer organizers, and some LED shop lights. Spent the whole weekend reorganizing and honestly it feels amazing. My 6 year old even helped me sort nails and screws. Now I actually WANT to spend time out there instead of just looking at the pile of half finished projects. Anyone else feel like a functional workspace makes a huge difference?

That's a real accomplishment right there. Getting your own space set up properly is huge. Now you actually have somewhere to work on projects without kids interrupting every five seconds.

Two years! Ha, that's nothing. I've got a project in my garage that's been sitting since our oldest was born. The look from the wife never stops though.

Actually finishing a project after that long is a major win. The workbench is going to feel amazing once it's actually done and you can use it for something.

Finally! I know that look. That's the look that says 'I'm done hearing about this workbench.' Two years is respectable though, at least you finished it. What are you building first once it's all set up?

Two years is respectable honestly. Some of us are still waiting on our wives to give us permission to even START our projects. Enjoy that workbench.
