Finally got my fishing setup sorted

Spent the weekend organizing my tackle boxes and got all my rods cleaned up. Still debating between the new Shimano or upgrading my casting technique first but man it feels good to have everything ready. Planning a trip next month to the lake with my brother. Haven't done that in years and I'm pumped about it.

That's the real question right there. I'm the same way about grilling gear. Sometimes the new rod feels better than the technique, but honestly both matter if you're getting out on the water.

Nice work getting everything organized. Taking my son out to fish and work on stuff in the garage is how we bond. Sounds like you've got a solid setup going.
