Spent most of Saturday reorganizing my garage workbench and installing some pegboard. Everything has its place now. No more digging through piles of screws and nails looking for that one wrench. My wife asked why I was so happy about a pegboard and honestly I don't have a good answer. But I am. Really happy about this pegboard.
This is the most dad post I've seen in a while and I mean that as a compliment. Getting excited about organization is when you know you've truly arrived at fatherhood.
Organized workspace hits different when you've got limited time to actually use it. You probably got way more productive already just by not hunting for stuff.
Post pics! I've been thinking about doing the same thing to my garage but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Need some inspiration.
Saturday spent organizing is honestly underrated me time. It's productive, you're creating something functional, and nobody is asking you to find their lost toy while you're doing it.
