Been promising myself I'd organize all my fishing stuff for like 2 years. My garage is a disaster. Just bought some of those wall mounted organizers and I'm actually doing it this weekend. Feels silly to be excited about organizing but I haven't been fishing in forever and I want to actually go soon. Anyone use a specific system that works?
Dude organizing the garage is half the battle. Once those wall organizers go up you'll actually be able to find your stuff and maybe get out fishing more often.
Two years is nothing, I've got stuff in my garage that's been waiting to be organized since my oldest was born. At least you're actually doing something about it.
The garage tackle organization is real. I finally did this last year and found fishing gear I forgot I even owned. Pro tip: get some wall-mounted pegboard and clear plastic bins. Makes it so much easier to grab what you need when you actually get out on the water.
This hits different when you have kids because suddenly you realize they might want to go fishing with you someday and you need the space to teach them properly.
