Fishing trip this weekend, first one without the kids

Going to the lake early Saturday with my brother and a couple buddies. First time in like 2 years I'm getting a full day without the kids. My wife basically insisted I go. I'm excited but also guilty? Is that weird? I think I'm overthinking it.

Dude enjoy every second of it. Two years is a long time without a break. Fishing is the perfect reset. You're gonna come back so much more present for the family.
