Fishing trip this weekend got rained out

Drove 3 hours up north with my buddy Dave to hit the lake. We get there and a storm rolls in out of nowhere. Spent the whole time sitting in the truck drinking beer and eating sandwiches. Not gonna lie, it was still pretty great just getting away from the house for a day. Rescheduling for next month.

Weather up north can flip on a dime. Take it as a sign to plan a do-over trip when the forecast is better. Next time check the extended forecast like three days out.

When you reschedule, leave on a different day of the week. Sometimes weekends have bad weather patterns while mid-week is clear. Just a thought for next time.

Three hours to get rained out has to sting. That's rough man. But hey at least you and Dave got the trip in and can reschedule. The lake isn't going anywhere.
