Fishing trip with my son next month

Planning to take my 12 year old on his first real fishing trip. Renting a cabin up north for a long weekend and I'm more excited than he is probably haha. Been watching some tutorials on proper technique so I can actually teach him something instead of just winging it like my dad did with me.

A long weekend up north sounds perfect. I'm always juggling work schedules to make stuff like this happen, but it's worth every bit of shuffling around. Have a great time.

That's awesome, man. Those trips stick with them forever. My son still talks about the treehouse we built like five years ago. Your 12 year old will remember this.
