Getting back into fishing after 10 years

My oldest is 8 now and asked to go fishing with me last weekend. We caught like 7 bluegill which was actually decent for a beginner. But honestly watching his face light up when he got his first bite hit different. Been looking at fishing spots online all week now. Might make this a regular thing on Saturdays when the weather is nice.

That's awesome, man. Getting your oldest interested in what you love is huge. Seven bluegill for a first time out is legit, you two are gonna catch way more next trip.
