Getting back into fishing this spring

Just signed up for a fishing trip with my buddies next month. Haven't been out in like 5 years because life got crazy with the kids. Really excited but also terrified my gear is all garbage now. Gonna hit up the local shop this weekend and see what I actually need. Hopefully catch some walleye and get away from the chaos for a day.

Getting back out on the water after that long sounds like exactly what you need. Coffee in one hand, fishing rod in the other - that's the life right there.
