Got back into fishing after 10 years

My buddy convinced me to go out on his boat last month and I got absolutely hooked again. Been binge watching fishing channels and just ordered new gear. Thinking about taking the kids once I get comfortable enough. Growing up I used to fish with my dad all the time so this feels like coming home in a weird way.
