My dad used to take me fishing when I was a kid and I completely forgot how much I loved it. Took my oldest son out last month to a local lake and we actually caught some decent size bass. We're already planning our next trip. Thinking about making this a father-son thing. Anyone else get back into hobbies after a long time away? It feels awesome.
That's awesome man, those are the memories that stick with them forever. Taking your oldest out to the lake sounds perfect and I bet he's already asking when you can go again.

Man that's beautiful. I took my oldest fishing for the first time last summer and watching them land a fish for the first time was something else. Your kid's going to treasure these memories.
