Got back into gaming after 10 years
My oldest is getting into video games and instead of just letting him play alone, I picked up a controller and we've been playing together. Started with some coop games and now we're actually developing a routine where Thursday nights are gaming nights. It's way more fun than I remembered and honestly it's a great way to connect with him. He's teaching me stuff and I'm not even embarrassed about being bad at it. Anyone else bonding with their kids over gaming? Might start a competitive game too but I need to practice first so he doesn't destroy me.
This is awesome actually. Getting back into gaming so you can do it WITH him instead of him just gaming solo is solid parenting. What game are you two playing?
