Got back into golf after 5 years

Finally joined a club nearby and played 9 holes last Sunday. Shot like a 52 which is terrible but it felt great to be out there. My wife was cool with me going so I'm trying to make it a regular thing maybe once a month. I know I won't get better if I only play once a year. Anyone else trying to get back into stuff after kids?

That's awesome you got back out there. A 52 on 9 is actually solid for jumping back in. Are you gonna try to get out more regularly or just when you can find time?

Five years is a long time but the muscle memory's probably still there. Getting back into golf is great because you can actually relax and think instead of being 'on' the whole time.

52 on 9 holes is not terrible for getting back into it! I shot worse when I started again after time off. The swing comes back pretty quick though. What course did you play?
