Got into fishing again after like 10 years

Took the boys out to the local pond last weekend and man I forgot how peaceful it is. We didn't catch much but we sat there for three hours just talking about random stuff. One of them asked why ducks waddle and we got into this whole thing about physics. Might make it a monthly thing. Beats sitting inside arguing about screen time.

This is the kind of thing I forget to prioritize until I actually do it and remember why it matters. Three hours of just being there with them sounds perfect right now.
