Got my boys interested in fishing finally

Took them out to the pond last Saturday and my 6yo actually caught a bluegill. The look on his face man. Worth every mosquito bite and the hour I spent untangling his line from a tree. Now he wants to go every weekend. Looks like I'm buying a second fishing rod.

Nothing beats that look on their face. I work nights so getting time like that with my kids is gold, mosquitoes and all. You're doing it right.

Man that's cool. I coach slow pitch and I see kids light up over that stuff all the time. You just gave your boy a story he'll remember forever.

Dude that's awesome. Those moments are what it's all about. My 6yo still talks about the first fish he caught, and honestly it might be my favorite memory with him.
