Grill broke down mid-season, need advice
My 6 year old Weber started having temperature control issues. It'll spike to 500+ degrees even when I have the knob on low. Cleaned the burners and checked the regulator but no luck. Should I try to replace some parts or just bite the bullet and get a new one? I do a lot of grilling so I want something reliable. Budget around 400-600 bucks.
Temperature control issues are the worst. Have you checked the thermometer itself? Sometimes it's just a bad sensor reading rather than the actual grates getting that hot. If it's 6 years old though, might be time to start shopping around.
