Grill season is here and I'm not ready

Just realized all my propane is gone and the grill grates are a mess. Had family coming over for Memorial Day weekend and I had to spend Saturday morning scrubbing rust off while the charcoal guy was totally out of stock. Anyone else struggle with end of winter grill maintenance or is it just me?

Oof, nothing worse than that Saturday morning scramble. At least you got it handled before the family showed up. Next year maybe do a pre-holiday maintenance day with the kids - they can help scrub those grates.

Been there, man. I always do a quick grill check the week before any big cookout now - learned that lesson the hard way building stuff on my schedule. New propane and some grill cleaner from the hardware store and you'll be golden for next time.
