Grill upgrades - thinking about a Traeger

My old Weber is finally dying after like 15 years of service. Anyone here use a Traeger or similar pellet grill? I love smoking stuff but the temperature control on my current setup is a pain. Trying to decide if the upgrade is worth it or if I should just stick with charcoal. Wife thinks any grill over $500 is crazy expensive lol.

I've heard great things about Traegers for consistency with smoking. With four kids, I don't have much time for grilling myself, but my neighbors swear by theirs. Sounds like your Weber gave you a great run though.

Traeger is solid if you want set it and forget it, but honestly I was the same way with my old grill. Those pellet grills are great for temperature control, especially if you like smoking. Might be worth checking out a few local shops in your area to see them in person first.
