Grilling competition this weekend and I'm actually nervous

Been smoking briskets and ribs for the last year as a hobby and my buddy convinced me to enter a local competition. There's gonna be like 40 other guys there and I have no idea if I'm even good enough but here we are. If I embarrass myself at least I'll have an excuse to grill more and practice. Anyone here ever done one of these?

Nervous is good, man. Means you care about it. You've put in the work all year, now just trust what you know and enjoy the competition.

You're gonna kill it out there. A year of practice on briskets and ribs means you know your stuff. Just have fun with it.
