Grilling in the rain - am I crazy?

So I'm out there in a light rain trying to smoke a brisket because I already had it going and didnt want to bail. Wife thinks im nuts but honestly it was kind of relaxing? Just standing there with a beer, checking the temp, no kids bothering me. Made a pretty solid brisket too. Anyone else grill in bad weather or is it just me?

Light rain and a brisket going? That's not crazy, that's commitment. The kids will probably think that's the coolest thing ever.

Not crazy at all, that's dedication. Once that brisket is rolling you can't just abandon it. Your wife will forget she called you nuts when she tastes it.
