So its been drizzling all afternoon and I've got steaks that need to cook. Do you guys grill in the rain or wait it out? I've got a cover on my grill but never really pushed it in wet weather. Don't want to waste a good ribeye but also don't want to ruin my grill. What's everyone's take?
Steaks are worth it. Rain never stopped a good grill. That's when the real grillmasters separate themselves. Plus there's something satisfying about standing out there in the drizzle with your tongs like you own the place.
Rain never stops me - steaks are steaks! Got my cover like you and just fire it up, the grill handles it fine. Maybe grab an umbrella if you want to stand there, but those steaks will taste just as good.
Dude, drizzle is nothing. I grill year-round here in Florida and you just push through it. With a cover you're golden, steaks won't know the difference.
Worth it. Kids will remember dad grilling in the rain way more than they'd remember him waiting for good weather. That's the kind of stuff that becomes a story.

If they're good steaks absolutely. Drizzle isn't gonna hurt anything and honestly the rain keeps things cooler so you have more control. Just make sure you're not standing there for hours getting soaked.
