Grilling is my love language at this point

Started off just throwing burgers on the BBQ but now I'm smoking brisket, doing reverse sears, experimenting with wood combinations. My garage has more grilling equipment than tools at this point.

My kids actually WANT to come out and help me prep stuff. It's like the one hobby where everyone gets involved, we're together, and there's something delicious at the end. Even my wife who normally complains about my hobbies appreciates the results.

Reverse sears are game changers. Once you go reverse sear you never go back. What kind of grill are you working with?

That garage setup sounds awesome. I'm still at the burger stage but this makes me want to level up. The fact that you're experimenting with different woods is next level.

Love this energy. Woodworking is my therapy the same way smoking brisket is yours - there's something about that focus and craft that just hits different when you're a dad.

My dad got into smoking meat last year and now every family gathering we're eating incredible brisket. It's honestly pretty cool to watch the transformation from casual grilling to actual pitmaster.
