Been prepping my smoker all week. New grates, cleaned out the ash, got my rubs ready and I'm planning a big cookout this weekend. Invited some neighbors over, gonna do brisket, ribs, and some chicken. These summer months are the best when you can just fire up the grill and not worry about snow. Anyone else get that excited about grilling season or is it just me?
That sounds amazing, nothing beats fresh smoked meat and neighbors hanging out. We're more of a basic grill family but I respect the dedication to the smoker prep. Hope the cookout turns out incredible.

Grilling season is the best season. There's something about having a hobby that also produces food for the family. My kids will actually eat vegetables if I grill them.
