Grilling Season is Upon Us

Cleaned out the grill, got my new thermometer, picked up some nice cuts of brisket and ribeyes for the weekend. There's something about firing up the grill that just makes me feel like a man again. My 8 year old wants to help this time which is actually pretty cool. Teaching him about temperature and timing and how to not burn stuff. Even if dinner takes twice as long I'm here for it. Spring is officially here and I'm ready to be outside cooking meat.

Nice. There's something about firing up the grill in spring that just feels right. My kids have opinions about grilling now which is hilarious and annoying at the same time. Sounds like you're going to put on a good meal.

A good grill and nice cuts - that's the dream right there. I need to get my grill cleaned out, been sitting all winter. Might have to hit up my local butcher this weekend.
