Just cleaned out the grill, replaced the propane, and got all my tools organized. The kids don't know it yet but we're doing burgers and dogs this weekend. Gonna teach my oldest how to flip a burger without messing it up. There's something about standing out there with a cold drink and some good meat on the flame that just hits different when you're a dad. Summer can't come fast enough.
I love the energy here. There's something about getting the grill ready that just hits different. The kids will appreciate it once the food starts showing up.
Grilling season is the best season. There's something about firing up that grill that just makes you feel like you've got your life together, even if you don't.
This is peak dad energy right here. Nothing beats grilled food and some peace and quiet while the kids are occupied inside.
